Spicewood Volunteer Fire Department and EMS Members Here we all are as of 2010. Actually, not everybody was there for the shot, so we pasted their heads in later. Bet you can't tell though.
Birds-eye view of the fire hall This is what the helicopter sees right before landing to transport a patient to a hospital emergency department. In case you are arriving by helicopter, the coordinates are 30.458036°, -98.156953°. That's latitude followed by longitude. Put another way, that's 30° 27' 28.93" N, 98° 09' 25.03" W. Oh, and this satellite image is interactive—you can zoom in and out and scroll around to see what's nearby. |

PLEASEE CAUTION WHEN BURNING!
Ever thought about joining the Spicewood Volunteer Fire Department or EMS? Once you're a member, you can choose what you want to and are capable of doing. You might choose to fight structure fires in full bunker gear, or drive a 4WD brush truck across burning ranch land. But not all members actively fight fires - you might help to keep our pumpers full of water, or bring needed supplies to firefighters, or receive EMS certification and provide pre-hospital medical care to members of the community in need of emergency medical services.
