Members Here we all are as of 2010. Actually, not everybody was there for the shoot, so we had to paste their heads in later. Not that you could tell or anything.
Birds-eye view of the fire hall This is what the helicopter sees right before landing to transport a patient to a hospital emergency department. In case you are arriving by helicopter, the coordinates are 30.458036°, -98.156953°. That's latitude followed by longitude. Put another way, that's 30° 27' 28.93" N, 98° 09' 25.03" W. Oh, and this satellite image is interactive—you can zoom in and out and scroll around to see what's nearby. |
Burnet County Burn Ban Status ON A burn ban has been issued for Burnet County effective March 22, 2011 until farther notice. Please check our FAQ. Ever thought about joining a Volunteer Fire Department or EMS? Ask a member about it, leave a message on our answering machine, or just attend a business meeting, held at our fire hall on the second Tuesday of every month. To qualify, you must attend two consecutive business meetings, pass a background check, and be voted in. You do whatever you want to do and are capable of doing. For example, you might fight structure fires in full bunker gear, drive a 4WD brush truck across burning ranch land, keep our vehicles full of water from one of our water tankers, or receive EMS certification and provide pre-hospital medical care to the community. |
